Carlos Soler’s stint with Paris Saint-Germain is nearing its end. After returning from a loan at West Ham, the Spanish midfielder is set to make a move back to La Liga. While discussions about a permanent transfer have been floating around, they have ultimately fizzled out. Instead, PSG has reached an agreement with Real Sociedad for a loan deal that includes an option to buy, as the Basque club couldn’t secure the necessary funds before the transfer window closed.
According to reports from L’Équipe, Real Sociedad will cover Soler’s full salary during the loan period and must offload one player to finalize the deal. The midfielder has already expressed his willingness to join the club in San Sebastián, marking a new chapter in his career after a disappointing tenure in Paris.
Tenas Sold for €2.5 Million
On the other hand, PSG has confirmed another departure, as Arnau Tenas has officially signed with Villarreal for a fee estimated at €2.5 million, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who was trained at FC Barcelona, moved to Paris on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 but struggled to find significant playing time behind Gianluigi Donnarumma.
In a statement, PSG praised Tenas and wished him success in his future endeavors. With Villarreal, Tenas will be aiming to establish himself as the starting goalkeeper in La Liga, hoping to make a name for himself after a brief and challenging experience at PSG.
