Questioned about his relationship with Massimiliano Allegri, now head coach of AC Milan, Adrien Rabiot is keeping the door open on his future at Marseille. The French midfielder says he’s committed to OM… but still listening closely to his former coach.
A Strong Bond With Allegri
Rabiot hasn’t hidden his admiration for the ex-Juventus boss: “I often talk to him, we chat about everything, not just football. I really appreciate him,” Rabiot told La Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday.
Loyal to Marseille… for Now
The midfielder underlined his desire to play Champions League football with OM, but didn’t close any doors: “Choosing Marseille without the Champions League wasn’t easy. Now that we’ve qualified, it’s important for me to play here.”
When asked if he’d answer a call from the new AC Milan coach, Rabiot replied candidly: “If he calls, I’ll always be available to speak with him.” A clear message — but not an outright transfer request.
Under contract until 2026, Rabiot is keeping his options open. OM want to keep him, but the Allegri-Milan connection could become a serious variable in the weeks ahead.
