Paris Saint-Germain already has an agreement in place with Rodrigo Mora, but negotiations have been stuck since the start of the transfer window due to FC Porto’s inflexibility.
The Portuguese side had been refusing to discuss terms, insisting on the full release clause of €70M (£59M). Now, things seem to have shifted.
Rodrigo Mora to PSG is no longer just a dream. Several clubs showed interest, which initially strengthened Porto’s stance. But with the situation stalling, the club’s hardline position is starting to soften.
Porto ready to lower demands
According to RMC, Mora is not considered an absolute priority for PSG this summer. The French champions are also counting on the rise of young Senny Mayulu, who is expected to be offered a contract extension.
Meanwhile, journalist Pedro Almeida reports that Porto is now willing to listen to offers below the €70M clause. In other words: negotiations are finally on the table.
For PSG, the opportunity is clear — but will they push for a deal in the final days of the window, or choose to wait another year?
