The English winger turned down a pay cut at Chelsea—where he earned £300,000 per week—leading the London club to cancel their £25M buy option, while paying a £5M penalty fee.
But Sancho’s future almost certainly lies elsewhere. United are eager to sell him to help fund an ambitious summer transfer window. Having already secured an agreement with Matheus Cunha and made significant progress on Bryan Mbeumo, the Red Devils continue to look for attacking reinforcements.
