Shock in Spain: two and a half years in prison sought for Real Madrid player Raul Asencio.
The Spanish public prosecutor has requested a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence for Raul Asencio in a case involving sexual relations with two minors in a hotel in the Canary Islands, according to Cadena Ser.
While three former Real Madrid players face up to four years and seven months in prison for their participation in these allegedly consensual acts, Raul Asencio is accused of having requested and shared a video of the scene for private purposes, without having directly taken part.
The trial promises to stir public opinion as the Spanish football world is once again tainted.
