In this already tense context, Florentino Pérez has also become a target. Some supporters have called for his departure, a stance that has infuriated Álvaro Arbeloa. In a press conference, the former Madrid defender did not hold back: “The people who whistle at Florentino and demand his resignation are people who do not love Real Madrid. Florentino Pérez is the most important man in the history of this club, alongside Santiago Bernabéu.”
