AS Monaco should explore the different options to part ways with midfielder Paul Pogba. The player has failed in his attempt to come back after two years without playing.
Monaco wants to get rid of Paul Pogba. And fast. The bold gamble did not work, to say the least. His return to the pitch has not gone as hoped, and the situation is starting to worry people inside the club.
A difficult return after the suspension
Under contract until the summer of 2027, the Frenchman is no longer really part of the principality club’s plans. Announced as being close to a comeback several times, the former international has ultimately played very little.
Since the end of his doping suspension, Pogba has featured for only 30 minutes, far too little game time for a player of his status and experience.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Monaco is now seriously considering a departure in order to turn the page and rebalance its midfield. Pogba at Monaco is shaping up to be one of the biggest flops in Ligue 1 history.
