Despite talks with Orlando City, Antoine Griezmann is not expected to leave Atlético Madrid during the season. The club’s director of football, Mateu Alemany, has firmly dismissed the possibility of an immediate departure.

He is not leaving. Antoine Griezmann is at Atlético, and the club has no intention of letting him go. Speaking before the La Liga match against Real Sociedad, Mateu Alemany reiterated that the French striker remains fully committed to the Madrid side. “He still has this season plus two more in his contract. Antoine is a legend and he is in extraordinary form. The supporters will therefore applaud him as always and he will continue with us,” he told Movistar+.

Orlando City Holds MLS Discovery Rights
