Mauricio Pochettino has reflected on his time at PSG and defended his vision. The Argentine coach insists that the Mbappé–Neymar–Messi trio could have worked, provided there had been more time and a better-balanced structure.

Pochettino has some regrets. The MNM project could have succeeded. According to him, the real problem lay in the team’s overall balance. “If you want to play with these three forwards, you have to think about the system that will support them,” he pointed out. His plan was clear: “to strengthen the defensive structure so that the three could fully focus on creativity.” An ambitious project that ultimately remained unfinished due to a lack of continuity.
