Michael Olise’s performance did not go unnoticed. Outstanding during Bayern Munich’s 2-1 victory away at Real Madrid in the Champions League, the French winger made a strong impression… and won over Thierry Henry.
Delivering a high-level display at the Bernabéu, highlighted in particular by an assist for Harry Kane, Olise continues to confirm his rise in form this season.
A Unique Vision of the Game
Speaking on CBS Sports, Thierry Henry was full of praise: “He’s a different kind of player. He sees things that very few people see. He understands the game in a different way. He sees the game with his brain, not with his eyes.”
The former France U21 coach emphasized the Frenchman’s intelligence, highlighting his ability to anticipate situations even before touching the ball. “You have to be ahead in your mind to understand what’s happening. Then, you can dribble,” he added.
Quiet off the pitch, Olise lets his football do the talking… and clearly, that’s more than enough to impress the very best.
