The Maghnes Akliouche saga is starting to create serious buzz around Paris Saint-Germain… but behind the scenes, the situation appears far more complicated than it looks.

According to PSGInside-Actus, several disagreements have reportedly emerged in recent months during negotiations with the AS Monaco wonderkid. PSG are said to have believed multiple times that an agreement was close before seeing the demands rise again: agent bonuses, new conditions, and additional requests reportedly ended up frustrating some Parisian executives.

PSG Still Pushing for Akliouche

Despite the tensions, Paris have not completely closed the door on the deal. The club is still keeping this option very active for the summer transfer window, especially if other attacking targets become more complicated in the coming weeks.

The big question now is how much PSG would need to spend to prise Akliouche away from Monaco. According to Foot Mercato, the attacking midfielder remains a major priority for the Parisian club, and the transfer could become one of the biggest moves of the summer. While the player is valued at around €50 million, Monaco are reportedly still demanding between €70 and €80 million to consider a sale.

Behind the scenes, however, the deal does not appear to have unanimous support. PSGInside-Actus also claims that Luis Enrique appreciates the profile of the young French international without making him an absolute priority. Within the club, some decision-makers are reportedly even more attracted by the idea of signing Julián Álvarez. One thing seems certain: PSG continue to work on several attacking options in parallel, and the Akliouche case could still deliver plenty of twists this summer.
