Paris Saint-Germain have seen three more academy prospects decide to leave the club. Within just a few days, Ilyes Housni, Yanis Khafi, and Pierre Mounguengue all opted to continue their careers away from the French capital.
The academy exodus continues at PSG, with Ilyes Housni’s departure standing out the most. Once regarded as one of the club’s brightest prospects, the 21-year-old striker is set to join Nancy in Ligue 2 after unsuccessful loan spells in Qatar and at Le Havre. He will now look to revive his career after previously making headlines with a memorable dribble past Axel Disasi against Chelsea.
PSG Academy Talents Head Abroad
Meanwhile, Yanis Khafi is preparing for a move to Italy. The 20-year-old midfielder, who was included in Luis Enrique’s squad on several occasions last season, is expected to sign his first professional contract with Carrarese in Serie B.
Pierre Mounguengue is also moving on, with the 18-year-old striker set to join Dynamo Kyiv. According to PSG insider Djamel, the Ukrainian club convinced him with its sporting project and the promise of significant first-team opportunities. Three departures, three different paths, but the same conclusion: PSG continue to lose promising young talents before they have the chance to establish themselves at the highest level.
