Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed another departure from their youth academy. Eighteen-year-old striker Pierre Mounguengue will not sign his first professional contract with the French champions and has instead chosen to continue his career with Dynamo Kyiv.

Regarded as one of the most promising forwards of his generation, Mounguengue has opted for a fresh challenge abroad after five years in Paris. The Ukrainian club successfully convinced the young Frenchman to join its long-term project, bringing his spell at PSG to an end.

I would like to thank all the coaches and staff I worked with, my teammates, and of course the supporters. I experienced unforgettable moments here, and it was a privilege to represent these colors. Thank you for everything.” His departure follows a growing trend of PSG academy graduates choosing to continue their development in other European leagues.
