The Real Madrid board is ready to open the door for Rodrygo’s departure — and Tottenham is stepping up.
According to AS, Spurs are preparing a €90 million bid to lure the Brazilian forward, who’s reportedly been marked as the main “sacrifice” of the summer by the Merengue hierarchy.
The plan? Make Rodrygo the new face of the attack, as Heung-min Son prepares to leave for LAFC. The issue: the player is demanding over €10 million net per year — a salary that Tottenham considers excessive. If Rodrygo refuses to lower his demands, the bid might be adjusted.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have all cooled their interest, leaving Spurs alone in the race… but Rodrygo isn’t exactly thrilled by the idea of a move to London. Real Madrid, however, is open to negotiations.
