Just when it seemed Gianluigi Donnarumma was heading for the exit, the situation has taken a twist. According to RMC Sport, PSG is no longer ruling out the idea of keeping the Italian goalkeeper alongside Lucas Chevalier, who is expected to sign very soon.
Chevalier, 23, remains a top priority for Luis Enrique, and negotiations with Lille are well advanced. But Donnarumma — whose contract talks have stalled — still feels a strong attachment to the club after winning the Champions League, and won’t leave unless the right project comes along.
For PSG, the approach is respectful. The club recognizes Donnarumma’s importance and is open to keeping both players, at least temporarily.
Managing two top-level goalkeepers won’t be easy, especially with Donnarumma’s contract expiring in 2026. But for now, the door remains open — and the saga is far from over.
