Barcelona are closing in on a major signing: Nico Williams. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan giants have reached a six-year agreement with the Athletic Bilbao winger.
Nico Williams set to Play with Lamine Yamal next season. And Nnot just with Spain. The 22-year-old Spanish international, who scored 11 goals this season, is expected to earn €7–8 million net per year atBarça.
Release Clause Set at €58M (£49M)
The final hurdle? Bilbao. While personal terms are agreed, Barça still need to negotiate with the Basque club, who won’t let their star man go cheaply. Nico’s release clause stands at €58 million (around £49 million), and Athletic are holding firm.
If the deal goes through, Nico would line up alongside Lamine Yamal — an exciting new attacking duo for the Blaugrana.
