It had been expected, and it is now official: Pablo Longoria is no longer linked to Olympique de Marseille. Already replaced as president by Alban Juster at the end of February, the Spaniard has reached an agreement with the club to bring his journey to an end.

There was no suspense, but OM had not yet made the announcement public—until now. Pablo Longoria is no longer the club’s president. “McCourt Global and Pablo Longoria have reached an agreement on the terms of his departure. OM would like to acknowledge the commitment, passion, and work accomplished by Pablo Longoria over the past six years in service of the club. The club extends its most sincere wishes for success in the next stage of his career,” the statement reads.
