A difficult evening for the young prospects of Paris Saint-Germain. Two players introduced by Luis Enrique were forced to leave the pitch early due to injury.
Making his first appearance with the senior team, David Boly, a right-back just 16 years old, was unable to finish the match against Vendée Fontenay in the Round of 64 of the Coupe de France. Heavily targeted on his flank and hit several times, the young defender had to be substituted after around thirty minutes, visibly shaken and in tears.
Mounting physical concerns for PSG
A tough blow for the Paris academy product, who was experiencing a defining moment in his young career. The staff are now hoping for reassuring medical news so he can return to action quickly, as further opportunities are expected to come his way in the future.
Another concern for the Parisian side: Ndjantou, also injured, did not return after the break and was replaced by Jangeal at half-time, further worsening the evening’s physical toll. PSG end 2025 with nearly 30 injuries in total.

An astonishing figure, further compounded by injuries to head coach Luis Enrique and club president Nasser al-Khelaïfi, both of whom underwent arm surgery following cycling and padel accidents respectively.
