Swept aside by Paris Saint-Germain over both legs (0-3, 2-5 in the first match), Chelsea never truly existed in this Champions League Round of 16 clash. An obvious conclusion acknowledged by Liam Rosenior after the game.

Rosenior did not hesitate to place Paris among the top contenders for the final title: “Of course they can win the Champions League again. They have quality, we’ve seen it throughout the season.” A strong tribute that confirms the impression left by PSG: a team ready to go very far, with Liverpool or Galatasaray now in their sights for the quarter-finals.
