PSG and Bournemouth have reached an agreement for the transfer of Illia Zabarnyi, according to Foot Mercato.
Finally! After months of negotiations, the 22-year-old Ukrainian centre-back is heading to Paris for €63 million plus bonuses, having turned down all other offers, including one from Tottenham. His priority was clear: join PSG.
Targeted since last winter, Zabarnyi has signed a 5-year deal until 2030. A key addition for Luis Enrique, who’s already welcomed goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille.
On Bournemouth’s side, this deal opens the door to finalizing the €40 million signing of Bafodé Diakité from LOSC.
Two major defensive signings for PSG… and the transfer window is far from over.
