Christophe Dugarry has not held back in his criticism of PSG coach Luis Enrique, despite the Parisian club’s impressive performance against Chelsea.
After being criticized following sluggish performances against AS Monaco, Luis Enrique has found his smile again. PSG’s victory over Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 allowed the Spanish coach to respond on the pitch.
Dugarry criticizes Luis Enrique’s provocative attitude
But for RMC consultant Christophe Dugarry, Luis Enrique is showing off a bit too much. “He is who he is. You can’t blame a guy for his attitude in press conferences, he’s always like that. (…) He loves it, it’s his favorite game. (…) Yesterday he arrived at the press conference and strutted around because he was right about everything. He delivered the perfect match. (…) He has an enormous ego.”
“He has the right to have a big ego. Everyone has their own personality. He loves being in constant provocation. (…) Every move he tried worked. He struts around, he shows off, and he’s right. I hope he keeps showing off all season,” he said on RMC Sport.
