Interest confirmed: Franck Haise is indeed a serious candidate for the Stade Rennais bench. Contacted by Canal+, the former RC Lens and OGC Nice coach acknowledged that he is open to succeeding Habib Beye, who was recently dismissed.
With Habib Beye removed, Rennes is searching for a new head coach, and Franck Haise appears to be the leading option. Free since December, Haise is not ruling out a quick return to Ligue 1, especially since he knows the Rennes setup well after previously working there as a youth developer.
An Interim Staff Set for the PSG Clash
However, the matter will not be settled urgently. Currently on vacation abroad, the coach will not be in place in time for Friday’s showdown against Paris Saint-Germain.
For that match, the interim role will be handled by Sébastien Tambouret, Pierre-Alexandre Lelièvre, and Maxime Le Marchand. Haise, for his part, remains on standby — but clearly interested.
