“It’s not party time”: Luis Enrique warns PSG players

After PSG’s routine 5–0 win over Marseille, Luis Enrique stepped up to the Ligue1+ microphone wearing the smile of a teacher whose class has just handed in a perfect exam. “We expected a difficult match,” he said, before noting that his team ultimately ticked every box: good play, goals, victory — job done.

The Paris coach also enjoyed the electric atmosphere of the Classique, with the Parc des Princes roaring like a volcano. “It’s a real pleasure to play this kind of match,” he added, clearly satisfied with both the performance and the setting.

No celebrations despite the big win

There was also an extended round of praise for Ousmane Dembélé, who scored twice. Luis Enrique described him as a “different” player, with Ballon d’Or-level quality and guaranteed entertainment — a premium package with pressing included.

But there was no talk of sunglasses and cigars after the final whistle. Luis Enrique kept things strictly business: “We continue with our idea.” In other words, no overexcitement — back to work immediately. For anyone expecting a big celebration, his message was clear: “Nobody is partying, tomorrow is training!” Even a 5–0 win still means an early alarm clock.
