Paris FC’s Future at Parc des Princes After PSG Leaves Historic Stadium ?

The Paris FC, backed by LVMH and Red Bull, is currently making waves in Ligue 1 at the Jean Bouin stadium. However, any thoughts of moving to the iconic Parc des Princes are on hold, thanks to a reality check from the club’s president, Antoine Arnault.

While the team has successfully transitioned from Charléty to Jean Bouin, the prospect of stepping up to the Parc des Princes is not in the immediate plans. Arnault has made it clear that their current agreement with Stade Français, which runs until 2029, is solid, and they have no intention of jumping ahead too quickly.

The burning question looms: will Paris FC aim higher in the future? If PSG ever considers relocating, could the Paris FC stake a claim to the historic venue? Arnault, however, is not entertaining these speculations, emphasizing a grounded approach to club development.

Clarifying the Future of Paris FC

In a recent interview with L’Équipe, Arnault firmly dismissed any thoughts of a grand stadium expansion. “I’m not considering it right now. We have a lease until 2029 and a fantastic relationship with Stade Français,” he stated, making it abundantly clear that Jean Bouin will serve as the home turf for the foreseeable future.

Arnault’s stance is pragmatic; he favors a vibrant, packed stadium over a sprawling arena that might feel empty, even during European qualifications. When it comes to the Parc des Princes, he is unequivocal: “I don’t even want to hear about it. It’s PSG’s stadium, and discussing it would be disrespectful.” With that, the message is clear: Paris FC is charting its own course without encroaching on its neighbor’s territory.
