Paris Saint-Germain has written another glorious chapter in European football history. After a dramatic final against Arsenal in Budapest, the French giants secured the second UEFA Champions League trophy in their history following a nerve-racking penalty shootout.

PSG had to dig deep before turning the game around. Luis Enrique’s men were stunned early when Kai Havertz opened the scoring in the 6th minute, forcing the Parisians to chase the match against a well-organized Arsenal side that remained compact and dangerous on the counterattack.

PSG Overcomes Arsenal in a Thrilling Final

The turning point arrived in the 62nd minute. Following a combination with Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia was brought down inside the penalty area by Mosquera. Dembélé stepped up and confidently converted the spot kick to level the score, sending the final into a tense and dramatic battle.

The closing stages were filled with suspense. Kvaratskhelia struck the post, Bradley Barcola missed two huge chances against David Raya, and Vitinha came close with a superb effort. Extra time turned into a physical contest, with Safonov, Marquinhos and Pacho leading PSG’s resistance.

In the end, the match was decided on penalties, where Ramos, Doué, Hakimi and Beraldo all converted. Arsenal faltered at the crucial moment, and a mentally stronger PSG claimed a historic triumph, confirming its place among Europe’s elite clubs.
