With just under two weeks to go before the Champions League final on May 31 in Munich, UEFA is stepping up its efforts to combat illegal ticket resales. The governing body issued a stern warning this week: tickets bought outside of official platforms may be canceled, and entry to the stadium denied.

Each club—PSG and Inter Milan—was allocated 18,000 tickets. But technical issues, long virtual queues, and failed payment systems left many supporters empty-handed. Desperate fans have since turned to the black market, where prices are reportedly soaring up to €10,000 per seat.

UEFA: “Only Our Website Is Safe”

UEFA made it clear: only tickets purchased through its official website are valid. Paper tickets, screenshots, and resales by third parties will not be accepted. Enhanced security and ticket verification checks will be in place on matchday in Munich.
