Paris Saint-Germain outclassed Liverpool FC (2-0) in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, but the final score almost feels unfair. Driven by Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Parisians could have delivered a far heavier blow — 3, 4, or even 5-0 without exaggeration.

Refereeing Decisions Ignite Debate

Two denied penalties… that seemed valid. As a result, PSG leave the pitch dominant but frustrated, feeling wronged. A 2-0 victory that should have been far more convincing… and perhaps already ended any suspense.

Despite this, Achraf Hakimi and Luis Enrique have chosen not to escalate the situation publicly. Their tone remains measured, almost too restrained, while frustration simmers behind the scenes. The message stays the same: focus on Anfield, with qualification still to secure… but inevitably, a lingering sense of unfinished business.
