Despite winning their first-ever Champions League title, PSG has opted not to feature a star above their crest next season — a clear statement from a club with bigger ambitions.

A Trend Taking Shape

According to RMC Sport, PSG players won’t wear a star during the upcoming Club World Cup, which kicks off June 14 in the United States. Jérôme Rothen confirmed the decision on Rothen s’enflamme, saying PSG wants to stay humble and focused.

This choice sends a clear message: Paris is aiming higher. One Champions League title is great — but PSG wants to build a dynasty, not just a trophy moment. A single star is nice. Multiple stars? Even better.
