Liverpool are sinking into sporting chaos. Arne Slot is hanging by a thread despite temporary backing from the board, and the Reds are already looking for an escape route. And in their desperate search, one name keeps coming back: Luis Enrique.
Liverpool may dream of landing him… but reality will hurt. According to The Sun, the club is preparing an ambitious plan: bring Jürgen Klopp back for a six-month interim stint if Slot is dismissed, before attempting a spectacular move next summer—poaching Luis Enrique to rebuild the team from scratch.
The problem? Pretty much everything
The Spaniard is under contract with PSG until 2027, he is thriving both on and off the pitch, he loves the project, and Paris have zero intention of letting him go. In other words: for Liverpool, it looks nice on paper… but it’s closer to pure fantasy.
The Reds can dream all they want: Luis Enrique is not leaving Paris this summer.
