France are not done with extreme weather conditions yet. After already being disrupted by thunderstorms, heavy rain and even tornado alerts during this 2026 World Cup, Les Bleus will now have to deal with a completely different opponent: the heat.

That would put recovery, hydration and effort management at the heart of France’s preparation. In a tournament already marked by very difficult weather conditions at times, the French staff will once again have to adapt.

After weather-related interruptions, crushing heat may now take over. To go far in this World Cup, France will have to beat their opponents, but also survive the unpredictability of the American weather.
