Morocco says no to Messi and Argentina: a friendly match that will never take place… due to the overly demanding requests from the Argentine Federation.

The Moroccan Football Federation has rejected Argentina’s proposal for a friendly match, deeming the Albiceleste’s demands completely disproportionate. Between exorbitant costs, XXL logistical requests, and no guarantee of seeing Lionel Messi on the pitch, Morocco preferred to cut ties.

Argentina indeed wanted to charge 10 million euros just for their appearance, an astronomical amount, even for the reigning world champion.
