The clash between Donnarumma and Musiala in the PSG–Bayern Club World Cup quarter-final is still sparking controversy. According to former Bayern full-back Rafinha, several Bayern players entered the PSG locker room post-match to confront the Italian goalkeeper.

Donnarumma unintentionally injured Musiala while challenging for the ball just before halftime. Manuel Neuer later criticized the PSG keeper for his reckless approach and lack of immediate concern for Musiala. Rafinha revealed that Bayern players demanded Donnarumma apologize, accusing him of breaking a “code of ethics.”

Deeply affected, Donnarumma did try to apologize—but Musiala had already left for medical exams. The two later exchanged messages. Donnarumma’s agent, Vincenzo Raiola, later defended his client, insisting the clash was part of the game and even pointed to Neuer’s own controversial challenge on Higuaín in the 2014 World Cup final.
