Brazil wasted no time. Even before the start of the 2026 World Cup, the Brazilian Football Confederation officially announced on Thursday the contract extension of Carlo Ancelotti until 2030.
The World Cup has not even started yet, but Brazil has already extended the deal of its head coach. Carlo Ancelotti signed a new contract running until 2030. It is a huge vote of confidence for the Italian manager, who took charge of the Seleção in 2025 after leaving Real Madrid. Despite only being in the role for a few months, “Carletto” has already completely convinced the leaders of Brazilian football.
Brazil Bets Big on Carlo Ancelotti
“Brazil will continue under the guidance of one of the greatest coaches in history,” the CBF wrote in its official statement announcing the news.
With this massive extension, Brazil is clearly showing its ambitions: rebuilding a team capable of becoming world champion again and restoring all the prestige of the Seleção under Ancelotti’s leadership.
