The French Football Federation has set the date for the presentation of the next France head coach. Philippe Diallo will speak on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 11 a.m. during a press conference held at the FFF headquarters.
Zizou is coming! The FFF has moved quickly, just days after the end of the World Cup. The new head coach, who will be Zinedine Zidane, will be unveiled next Tuesday, the federation confirmed in an official statement.

The announcement will follow an extraordinary Executive Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday morning. The federation president will then officially present Didier Deschamps’ successor to the media.

Although the FFF statement has not yet revealed his identity, Zinedine Zidane will indeed become the next head coach of the France national team. The former Real Madrid manager is expected to be officially introduced on July 28 before taking up his duties on September 1. His appointment will end years of anticipation surrounding the 1998 World Cup winner, who has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid in 2021 and has repeatedly expressed his ambition to manage Les Bleus.
