Griezmann Mocks Barça after Atlético qualification

Despite a 3–0 defeat against FC Barcelona in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final, Atlético Madrid secured qualification thanks to their dominant 4–0 victory in the first leg. The result inspired Antoine Griezmann to react after the match.

Griezmann took the opportunity to settle scores with Barça. Having played for the club a few years ago, things did not end well for “Grizou.” Now, he appears to be enjoying his revenge.

On Instagram, the French striker posted a photo from the match showing him on the ground alongside two Barcelona players following the elimination.

The post was far from innocent. In fact, Griezmann reused a phrase that FC Barcelona had posted last season when the Catalan club celebrated a victory over Atlético with the exact same message. For the French international, it was the perfect way to get his own back.
