Lionel Messi spoke to Luzu TV, and not just a little. Usually tight-lipped about his private life, La Pulga says he has a “different” temperament from others.
It has been circulating widely on the web among his detractors: “Messi the autistic.” An insult from people who lack perspective, compassion, and intelligence. The word seems to have reached Lionel Messi himself. Reserved by nature, the Inter Miami player talks about his personality like rarely before.
Messi Opens Up About His Private Life
Lionel Messi confirms his introverted nature. “Today, I no longer go to therapy, but I did at one point. I’ve changed a lot,” he said. “On the sporting side, I talk a lot with my father. He has always been there for me.”
Then he talks about his daily life—and his life as a father, which seems to tire him quite a bit. “I like having my own time. My mood depends on small things,” he explained, describing himself as someone very structured and sensitive to the slightest change in his routine.
“I like being alone,” he adds. His wife Antonella, he says, “could tell you much more.”
