A surprising revelation has emerged from Spain: Fayza Lamari, Kylian Mbappé’s mother, is reportedly receiving an XXL compensation package for her role in managing the Real Madrid star’s career. Portuguese outlet A Bola reports that she is paid directly through an agreement linked to the Spanish club.
According to the report, she earns around €4.5 million net per year as part of the player’s close management team. The amount is said to come from a direct share of the striker’s income, with Mbappé having agreed to give her 30% of his earnings. This figure would even exceed the salaries of several players in Madrid’s squad, raising eyebrows even inside the locker room.
High-Stakes Family Negotiations Around Mbappé’s Career
Arda Güler, Brahim Diaz, Raul Asencio, Franco Mastantuono, Gonzalo Garcia, Andriy Lunin, Endrick, and Fran Garcia are all reportedly paid less than Mbappé’s mother. The comparison highlights just how significant her compensation package is within the club’s financial landscape.
The negotiations between mother and son were reportedly tense. Fayza Lamari initially asked for 50% of the revenue, a demand Mbappé declined, according to A Bola. After tough talks, the share was set at 30%, with the possibility of stepping away from the project if no agreement had been reached. A large portion of this income is also said to support Kylian Mbappé’s foundation, which helps children in difficult situations — blending family business with social commitment.
