An emotional night at Anfield. Before and after Liverpool’s 4-2 win over Bournemouth in their Premier League opener, the club paid tribute to Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, who tragically passed away in a car accident on July 3.

The Reds’ supporters filled the stadium with chants in memory of the Portuguese international, creating a moving atmosphere.

Deeply affected, Mohamed Salah — who scored in the match — couldn’t hold back his tears. The Egyptian appeared overwhelmed by the emotional connection between the fans and Jota’s former teammates.
