Qualified for the Coupe de France round of 16 after their 2–1 win in Lille, Olympique Lyonnais are clearly showing their ambitions. Captain Corentin Tolisso did not hide his desire to go all the way.

Speaking to beIN Sports, the Lyon midfielder highlighted the positive momentum: “We showed some good things technically and in terms of fighting spirit. We have to keep going. We played two big matches in 2026 and we won them. That bodes well for what’s next, but we must not relax.”
