Kylian Mbappé has matched the 61 goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo in 2012 after opening the scoring against Athletic Bilbao. With 61 goals for club and country in 2025, he is now only behind Lionel Messi’s alltime record of 91.
His form remains outstanding: 29 goals and 6 assists in 24 matches this season, including five strikes from outside the box — the highest total across the top five leagues. He has also become the second player to reach 15 league goals this year, behind Erling Haaland.
