Kylian Mbappé has struck again — and this time, it’s a completely crazy goal scored on the fiery pitch of San Mamés.
On fire since the start of the season, Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring against Athletic Bilbao with a solo move that silenced the entire stadium.
Set up by Trent AlexanderArnold, Mbappé decided to do what Mbappé does best: a monstrous acceleration, a razorsharp run, the Basque defense left behind, and a clinical finish past Unai Simon.
Another Golazo from Mbappé
A pure and simple golazo — the kind of goal that turns heads and proves once again that he’s one of the most devastating players on the planet.
Mbappé catches up with CR7
Kylian Mbappé has matched the 61 goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo in 2012 after opening the scoring against Athletic Bilbao. With 61 goals for club and country in 2025, he is now only behind Lionel Messi’s alltime record of 91.
His form remains outstanding: 29 goals and 6 assists in 24 matches this season, including five strikes from outside the box — the highest total across the top five leagues. He has also become the second player to reach 15 league goals this year, behind Erling Haaland.
