There’s growing concern for Paul Gascoigne, who was rushed to hospital on Friday, July 18, after collapsing at his home.
The 58-year-old former England international is reportedly now in stable condition, according to multiple UK media outlets.
Gascoigne, capped 57 times for England, was found semi-conscious by close friend and former Brighton defender Steve Foster, who also serves as his personal assistant. He was admitted directly to an intensive care unit, though his condition has since stabilized.
A flamboyant star of the 1990s, “Gazza” has long struggled with alcohol addiction. Since 2018, he’s claimed to be in better health thanks to anti-alcohol pellets implanted in his stomach.
