The PSG squad returned to training on Wednesday, the day after their spectacular 7–2 win in Leverkusen. No new injuries were reported — but Fabian Ruiz and João Neves remain absent, and doubts are growing around one of the stars of the night: Désiré Doué.
Doué raises questions : The young Frenchman, who scored twice on Tuesday, was subbed off at halftime and didn’t take part in Wednesday’s recovery session. His absence immediately raised alarm bells about his physical condition. Out of caution, Luis Enrique is expected to rest him — or keep him on the bench — for Saturday’s trip to Brest (5 p.m.).
Meanwhile, Marquinhos and Zabarnyi are fully fit, and Noham Kamara has rejoined the group after returning from the U20 World Cup.
Brest injury update
On the Brest side, Mama Baldé is nearing a comeback but is unlikely to start. Kenny Lala, Locko, and Guindo are available, while Doumbia, Labeau-Lascary, and Zogbé remain doubtful.
One thing’s for sure: after their Champions League fireworks, PSG will need to manage their stars carefully to keep the momentum going.
