PSG Stars’ Huge Salaries, But Falling

Paris Saint-Germain has made a clear economic shift. The club’s stars are still very well paid, but far less than in the past. Here are the current salary figures.

Money is still flowing at PSG, but the tap is not as wide open as before. According to Le Parisien, the club has reduced its wage bill by around 55% between 2022 and 2025. The era of ultra-high salaries is now over, with management favoring an internal salary cap and a younger squad built on high-potential profiles. The days of the massive contracts given to Neymar, Mbappé, or Messi are now far behind.

New salary hierarchy at Paris Saint-Germain

This new direction is reflected in the gross monthly pay scale. Ousmane Dembélé is currently the club’s top earner with €1.56 million per month. He is followed by Marquinhos (€1.13 million) and Achraf Hakimi (€1.1 million). Lucas Hernandez also ranks near the top with a €1 million monthly salary.

Behind them, Vitinha and Warren Zaïre-Emery each earn €950,000 per month. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia follows with €910,000, just ahead of Nuno Mendes at €900,000. Several key players are therefore now below the one-million-euro monthly mark.

Further down the hierarchy, Désiré Doué, Bradley Barcola, and Chevalier are all reported at €500,000 per month. Zabarnyi earns €450,000, Gonçalo Ramos €445,000, Fabian Ruiz €435,000, and João Neves €400,000. Lee receives €310,000, Pacho €280,000, Beraldo €270,000, and Safonov €250,000. PSG now promotes a more controlled model, with a structured wage bill and a strong focus on youth, development, and squad balance.
