Is PSG about to let the Ligue 1 title slip away? Lens has taken full advantage of Paris and Marseille’s slip-ups, climbing to the top of the table with a 2–1 win at Angers. Florian Thauvin struck twice, sending the Sang et Or to first place for the first time since 2004. Despite a late push from Angers and a cancelled penalty, Lens held firm. Marseille, meanwhile, failed to seize the opportunity and stayed stuck.

Lille also made a major move, snatching a 1–0 victory at Le Havre thanks to Hamza Igamane, who scored in the 88th minute on a pass from Ethan Mbappé. Reduced to ten after Bouaddi’s red card, the Dogues held on and climbed to 4th, while Le Havre suffered a fourth straight match without a win.

Between a draining Champions League campaign, a packed injury list and fiercer competition than in recent years, PSG might be heading into one of their most dangerous Ligue 1 seasons in a long time. The title race has rarely been this wide open.
