The crisis has taken on a new dimension at Real Madrid. Amid a disastrous end to the season, the Madrid dressing room is reportedly on the brink of implosion. And it now goes far beyond the Mbappé situation.
Real Madrid are on the verge of implosion. Truly on the edge. According to Marca, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde had a huge clash during training on Wednesday. A simple foul reportedly sparked an extremely heated altercation between the two midfielders, nearly turning into a fight in front of the entire squad.
Tensions Boil Over at Valdebebas
The Spanish outlet described it as “one of the tensest exchanges ever seen at Valdebebas.” Shoving, insults and physical confrontation: the dispute is even said to have continued in the dressing room. And this was not an isolated incident. A few days earlier, Antonio Rüdiger and Álvaro Carreras had already clashed in training.
Internally, the atmosphere has reportedly become toxic. Several players are no longer speaking to each other, while part of the dressing room is said to be at odds with Álvaro Arbeloa. Dani Ceballos is reportedly among the players most upset. Even Kylian Mbappé is said to be increasingly isolated after his recent trip to Sardinia, with criticism over an individualistic attitude and issues with staff members. Tensions are said to be high, especially with Jude Bellingham. Despite denials from his camp, the rumours continue.
Without a trophy and under the threat of FC Barcelona sealing the title during the Clasico, Real Madrid are going through one of the most explosive periods in their recent history. And it looks set to last until the end of the season. Before everything changes?
