Just days before the highly anticipated Club World Cup quarter-final clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, a major twist has rocked the German side: Leroy Sané will not be available for the match.
The reason? He won’t be a Bayern player anymore by Tuesday.
The German international is set to join Galatasaray, having already signed a contract that officially comes into effect on July 1st. As a result, Sané will not be eligible to play in the big showdown against PSG on Saturday, July 5 in Atlanta.
A huge blow for Bayern — and a small boost for the Parisians.
