Esteban Andrada has been handed a heavy suspension following a serious outburst. The Zaragoza goalkeeper received a 13-match ban from the Spanish Federation after his violent conduct during the derby against Huesca (0-1).
Sent off after pushing Jorge Pulido, the Argentine completely lost control and threw a punch at his opponent. A reaction that comes at a very high cost.
A suspension that ends his season
With only five matches remaining in Spain’s second division, this suspension effectively brings the 35-year-old goalkeeper’s season to an abrupt end.
A major blow for Zaragoza, who will now have to cope without their goalkeeper after a meltdown as spectacular as it was regrettable.
