Legendary vibes in Aix-en-Provence this weekend! To celebrate the 26th anniversary of France’s 1998 World Cup triumph, Zinédine Zidane gathered several of his former teammates at his Z5 sports complex.
It was another emotional reunion to mark that iconic July 12th victory — and to relive the golden memories. On the guest list: Fabien Barthez, Lilian Thuram, Emmanuel Petit, Laurent Blanc, Christophe Dugarry, Alain Boghossian, Christian Karembeu, Bernard Diomède, and Vincent Candela. As usual, Didier Deschamps was absent, staying low-key.
The big surprise? Aimé Jacquet himself showed up, flanked by Roger Lemerre and Philippe Bergeroo. A special moment of nostalgia and unity.
Zidane steals the show — without a mic
The highlight of the night? A concert by Zaho, during which Zidane grabbed a mic and sang “Tourner la page” by heart — side by side with Dugarry, in a hilarious and heartwarming moment that instantly went viral.
26 years on, the France 98 squad still knows how to light up a room. Legends never fade.
