Bruno Fernandes has suggested he could leave Manchester United if the club feels it’s time for him to go.
After United’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final, Fernandes said, “If the club thinks it’s time to part ways because they want to cash in or whatever, it’s what it is. Football sometimes is like this. I will stay here until the club says to me that it’s time to go.”
Despite the loss, Fernandes expressed his commitment, adding, “I’m eager to do more to bring the club to great days.” However, he acknowledged the club’s decision will ultimately dictate his future.
United’s Struggles Continue
The defeat to Tottenham capped a challenging season for United, who will miss out on European football next year. With manager Ruben Amorim under pressure, Fernandes admitted, “We wanted to win this final more than anything. It’s very sad.”
As speculation about his future grows, Fernandes, with interest from Saudi Arabia, may face a tough decision depending on United’s rebuilding plans.
