It’s nearly official — Théo Hernandez is set to leave Europe and join Al Hilal.
The 27-year-old French international has been offered a massive deal: €20 million per season. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Al Hilal’s recent elimination from the Club World Cup quarterfinals has accelerated the talks.
Initially tempted by a return to Atlético Madrid, Hernandez changed course after negotiations with the Spanish side collapsed. AC Milan is hoping to collect around €25 million from the transfer.
Given extra time off from training, the 2022 World Cup runner-up is expected to finalize the move in the coming days. Another big-name star heads to Saudi Arabia.
